Error 102 - Don't know if this is the right section though.. I'm new - Guild Wars Forums

Well I bought Guild Wars today and I'm getting error 102 which means I entered my serial number for the game 'incorrect'. I've tried over 20 times (litteraly) entering my serial number... I know 6 can look like B sometimes and G could look like 6 etc. but I tried every combination possible. I'm sure this copy is legit because I bought it from EB Games and I had to scratch that thing off to reveal the serial number and stuff...

What could POSSIBLY be wrong? Going nuts here.... Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'd say get a replacement from EB

I contacted the guild wars staff and im waiting for email back, but i wonder if they would give me a new serial number or something? Or at least verify if their manufacturers made a game with my serial number. I also told them my serial number in my email

EB Games have been notoriously known to sell faulty game products, deny refunds, and have a very bad customer service in general...

Oh. Well I got the ... whats the word I'm looking for (the thing where you pay like $5 for the insurance of the game) and tomorrow I'm going back there and gettin refund and going to wal mart or something

How long does it last? If you have some time, give customer support a try first, they might have an idea of how to help.

Yep, a GM said someone would be in touch with me very soon. And yeah I meant warrenty lol (cant think tonighT) and it lasts a year.
